June 28, 2011 - According to reports a robbery victim was attacked by a pit bull, suffering ear and other injuries.
According to authorities a man was attacked by a pit bull as a part of a robbery attempt at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the 8900 block of Painter Avenue in Whittier.
The 43 year old victim stated that three men beat him, after demanding his wallet and then the dog identified as a pit bull bit his head, neck and ears.
According to authorities the tips of the man’s ears were ripped off during the attack, by the pit bull.
The victim also stated that one of the men said they wanted to kill him. Saying “I kill you, I want to kill you.” Authorities arrested a Whittier man identified as Richard Aragon Sr., age 51 and his 16 year old son, it is alleged by the Whittier police that the 51 year old Aragon told the pit bull to attack the victim. Both were booked on suspicion of attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, according to investigators.
